What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to get it changed.
v1 - August 2026
Who holds your information
Samuel Gajmer from Harcourts Northwest Realty collects and holds your personal information.
Contact details are on the My Agent screen.
What we collect
Your name, phone number and email address.
Your property address and details you give us, such as bedrooms, land area, when you bought it and what you paid.
Questions you ask Sam AI, and the answers given.
Listings you save to your watchlist, and when you save or remove them.
Which updates you open, and whether you tap a video or link inside them.
Details of anyone you refer to us through the referral programme.
A device identifier, if you turn on notifications, so we can send them.
Why we collect it
To prepare appraisals for your property and send them to you.
To send you market reports for the area your property is in.
To answer your questions and stay in touch as your agent.
To see which listings you have saved, so Sam can arrange viewings and send you similar properties.
To see which updates are worth reading, so Sam sends you more of what you find useful and less of what you do not.
To keep the records a licensed agency is required to keep.
Who sees it
Sam, and Harcourts Northwest Realty as the agency he works for.
Our systems provider, Supabase, which stores this information on servers in Australia.
Groq, which processes questions you ask Sam AI. Those questions are processed overseas and are not used to train their models.
LINZ, when you search for an address. Only what you type into the address box is sent.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Giving us your details is your choice
You do not have to use this app. If you choose not to give us your name, contact details and property address, we cannot prepare appraisals or send you market reports, so the app will not be useful to you.
Seeing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Contact Sam using the details above.
You can remove a property from the app yourself, other than your primary one.
You can delete your account from the app, under My profile. That removes your sign-in, your messages and your Sam AI history, and you will not be able to sign in again.
If you leave, Sam keeps the records of work already done — appraisals and reports — as a licensed agency is required to.
If you have a concern
Raise it with Sam first. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
